Dr. Lemus is a physician with expertise in the area of evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with eating disorders.
She is an experienced internal medicine physician with experience in diagnosing and treating Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID. She also treats patients that are currently recovered from an eating disorder or in active recovery who are looking for follow-up medical care with a physician who understands eating disorders and the specific needs of patients in recovery.
Dr. Lemus is regarded as a Miami expert in eating disorder treatment, having worked with patients at all levels of care, in a range of settings including in-patient treatment facilities. Her network in the community makes coordination of additional medical services (gynecologists, endocrinologists, nutritionists, cardiologists, etc) and expertise, efficient and personalized. As your physician, she’ll be in communication with the other members of your outpatient treatment team and can recommend and coordinate higher levels of inpatient care when necessary.
She offers the expertise of an eating disorder specialist and physician in a warm and comfortable outpatient office environment dedicated to treating those suffering from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, disordered eating, and those in recovery from their eating disorder who are seeking guidance for their long-term health and staying on a healthy track.
